It is a shame that mail from a shared inbox appears in the user's 'Sent' folder rather than the shared mailboxes.
It makes it difficult for others using the shared inbox to find information on what mail has been addressed and said from the shared mailbox ;(

This is for the local Outlook client, not the online one. I don't have a mailbox with my name on it, just inbox. Right clicking does not give me add mailbox.

When I send emails from shared email box, the sent emails are stored in the personal sent item folder not in the sent item folder of shared email box.

Hi – I would like to ask how would you setup your shared Mailbox so that all of the email sent by the user using the shared mailbox will be stored inside the "Sent Items" of that shared Mailbox. Currently, whenever I send an email to a specific user using the shared mailbox, the sent Item is only being stored inside the "sent Items" of my own mailbox, and not in the "sent items" of the shared mailbox.

ok so how to access from Outlook online (web version)???? Can this shared account be accessible in the same window at the same time as the current account? The shared FROM does not show up either. Is this possible with the online version so I do not have to SWITCH ACCOUNTS every time?

Nice video! I have one thing to add though. With Office 365, all shared mailboxes a user has permissions on will normally be added automatically in the installed Outlook client. No need to manually add them – it will even result in the user having dual instances of the shared mailbox. (though this default setting can be changed by the admin)
